Trident Group, one of the world’s largest home textile manufacturers and a global leader in terry towels and wheat straw-based paper, has earned the Great Place to Work® Certification™ for the first time. The recognition is based entirely on employee feedback, with 95% of employees describing Trident as a great place to work, significantly exceeding the national benchmark.

The certification, awarded by Great Place To Work®, recognises organisations that foster exceptional workplace culture, positive employee experiences, and leadership practices that drive business performance, innovation, and employee engagement.

Commenting on the achievement, Pooja Luthra, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Trident Group India, said the recognition validates the company’s long-standing commitment to employee wellbeing and a culture built on trust and high performance. She noted that the 95% employee trust score is especially meaningful because it reflects the direct experiences of the organisation’s workforce, highlighting an environment where employees feel valued and rewarded fairly.

The certification follows Trident Group’s continued investment in employee-centric policies designed to support a diverse and evolving workforce. The company offers initiatives such as menstrual leave, paternity leave, adoption assistance, and flexible short leave options to help employees balance personal and professional responsibilities. These benefits are complemented by health and life insurance, regular health check-ups, and lifestyle benefits covering travel, dining, shopping, and rental services.

Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work, stated that achieving the certification requires a sustained commitment to delivering an outstanding employee experience. She added that the recognition is based solely on real-time employee feedback, demonstrating that Trident Group has established itself as one of the leading workplaces by creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.

According to research by Great Place To Work®, professionals are significantly more likely to find effective leadership at Certified organisations. Employees at such workplaces are also more likely to look forward to coming to work, believe they are compensated fairly, and feel they have equal opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Through this milestone, Trident Group reinforces its commitment to building a workplace culture centred on employee wellbeing, trust, inclusivity, and long-term professional development.
