Bombay Shirt Company (BSC), India’s pioneer in custom menswear, has launched its flagship store in Chennai with a new experiential retail concept called ‘The Den’. Spanning around 2,500 sq. ft., the space redefines traditional shopping by combining fashion, hospitality, and lifestyle into a single immersive destination for modern men.

Positioned as a “third space”, The Den is designed for customers to shop, relax, socialise, and spend time at their own pace. With warm interiors, an open layout, and a premium aesthetic, the store reflects BSC’s focus on creating a personalised and relaxed retail experience that goes beyond conventional menswear shopping.

A key highlight of the store is the BSC Café, developed in collaboration with Chennai’s KUP Coffee Roasters, along with a dedicated gelato bar. This integration of café culture within retail transforms the store into a lifestyle destination where customers can enjoy artisanal coffee, desserts, and conversations alongside shopping.

At its core, the store showcases Bombay Shirt Company’s signature custom-made and ready-to-wear menswear collections. Customers can choose from thousands of premium fabrics sourced globally and receive personalised styling guidance from expert advisors. The in-house tailoring team ensures precise fits and bespoke detailing.

The store also offers a complete menswear wardrobe, including shirts, trousers, chinos, denim, knitwear, tees, shorts, and outerwear, with regular new collections to keep offerings fresh and relevant.

Speaking on the launch, Chippy Aditya Mehta, Co-founder & COO, Bombay Shirt Company, says, “Chennai has always appreciated quality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful experiences. With ‘The Den’, we wanted to create a space that goes beyond traditional retail. One where style, hospitality, and community come together naturally. It is a destination designed for customers to slow down, spend time, and experience menswear in a more meaningful and engaging way.”

The Chennai flagship marks a key milestone in BSC’s expansion across India, reinforcing its vision to reshape menswear retail through customisation, community, and experiential design.
