Neelam Shami Rao officially launched the Bharat Tex 2026 Event App, introducing a unified digital platform designed to enhance engagement and navigation for participants attending India’s largest global textile event.
The Bharat Tex 2026 mobile application has been developed as a comprehensive digital companion for buyers, international delegates, exhibitors, sourcing consultants, speakers, partners, and visitors. Reflecting the event’s digital-first vision, the platform aims to streamline business networking, improve attendee experience, and support data-driven engagement throughout the exhibition.
Scheduled to take place from 14–17 July 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, Bharat Tex 2026 is expected to bring together more than 7,000 international buyers and over 1,30,000 trade visitors from across the global textile ecosystem.
The app enables registered participants to access event information, discover exhibitors, schedule B2B meetings, navigate the venue, capture business leads, attend knowledge sessions, and receive real-time updates through a single interface.
One of the key highlights of the platform is its AI Smart Assistant, designed as a 24×7 conversational support system capable of answering event-related queries, guiding attendees across the venue, and assisting with schedules, directions, and exhibitor information through a user-friendly interface.
The platform also introduces advanced networking and meeting management features, allowing exhibitors, buyers, and delegates to discover relevant business partners, manage meeting schedules, and track interactions efficiently. Additionally, the QR-enabled lead capture and Lead Wallet functionalities will help exhibitors store structured visitor information for post-event follow-up and business development.
To improve accessibility across the venue, the app offers detailed floor plans, stall-level navigation, booth search functionality, and wayfinding support throughout Bharat Mandapam.
Global buyers and sourcing professionals will also benefit from the exhibitor discovery module, which enables targeted searches across product categories, exhibitor types, and company listings, facilitating focused sourcing opportunities across the textile value chain.
Participants can further access the live event agenda and conference schedule, create personalised itineraries, and receive session alerts for policy discussions, industry dialogues, and knowledge-sharing programmes planned during the event.

Organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation, a consortium of 11 textile Export Promotion Councils and industry bodies with support from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the event aligns with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s 5F vision — Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign — aimed at positioning India as a reliable, sustainable, and innovation-driven global textile sourcing destination.
