ANDAM has awarded the 2026 ANDAM Innovation Prize to French AI company Alphalyr, recognising its artificial intelligence platform designed to improve decision-making across fashion supply chains, retail operations, and e-commerce performance. The winner receives €100,000 to support further development and industry deployment.

The announcement was made in Paris on 22 May, with the jury highlighting innovations that contribute to sustainability, efficiency, and digital transformation within the fashion ecosystem. The decision was taken by a panel of experts from fashion, luxury, and technology sectors, convened at Institut Français de la Mode.

Founded in 2017, the ANDAM Innovation Prize supports emerging startups building technology solutions for areas such as production, distribution, materials innovation, and circular economy applications. Past winners have collectively raised significant funding and established partnerships with major global fashion and luxury groups.

Alphalyr’s platform leverages AI-driven analytics to transform complex retail, supply chain, and e-commerce data into actionable insights aimed at improving operational coordination, agility, and sustainability across fashion businesses.

In addition to the main award, a special recognition was given to Pili for its development of bio-based pigments and dyes created through microbial fermentation and green chemistry, offering sustainable alternatives to traditional petroleum-based colourants used in textiles.

This year’s jury noted a strong shift towards more practical applications of AI and advanced materials innovation, particularly in addressing challenges such as resource efficiency, carbon reduction, and supply chain transparency.

The 2026 finalist lineup included startups working across biomaterials, textile recycling, AI-assisted design, repair systems, and alternative sustainable materials, reflecting growing industry momentum toward circularity and technology-led transformation.

The award highlights the fashion industry’s increasing investment in AI and sustainability-focused startups as brands and luxury groups respond to rising environmental pressures, regulatory expectations, and the need for more transparent and efficient operations.
