Sennes from the House of Senco is bringing the glamour of the Cannes Film Festival 2026 to India with Seen at Cannes, an exclusive showcase centred around its couture-inspired jewellery creation, Dewdrops.

Originally unveiled on the Cannes red carpet by creator and style icon Rida Tharana, the one-of-a-kind lab-grown diamond masterpiece drew attention for its sculptural fluidity, luminous movement, and restrained interpretation of contemporary luxury.

Inspired by the beauty of morning dew

The Dewdrops creation was designed as a tribute to fluidity, light, and movement, inspired by the delicate brilliance of early morning dewdrops. The jewellery captures the visual rhythm of water droplets reflecting the first rays of sunlight, translating that ephemeral beauty into a couture jewellery statement.

Crafted using lab-grown diamonds set in 14-carat gold with 105.5 carats of FG-VVS pear-shaped diamonds, the piece features cascading diamond placement, organic silhouettes, and sculptural construction designed to mirror the natural flow of light and movement.

The result is jewellery that appears luminous and almost liquid against the skin, combining softness, fluidity, and architectural elegance.

Couture sensibility meets conscious luxury

At Cannes, the jewellery stood apart through understated sophistication rather than excess glamour. Paired with couture styling, the creation reflected a softer and more fluid vision of modern luxury, balancing fashion-forward design with timeless craftsmanship.

The collection further reinforces the growing role of lab-grown diamonds within contemporary fine jewellery, particularly among consumers seeking innovation, sustainability, and modern design language within the luxury segment.

Expanding India’s global jewellery narrative

According to Joita Sen, the inspiration behind Dewdrops was to create jewellery that felt naturally radiant, weightless, and emotionally expressive while translating the purity of nature into sculptural form.

Over the past year, Sennes has continued building a distinct identity through storytelling-led collections, sculptural aesthetics, and a contemporary interpretation of fine jewellery for a new generation of luxury consumers.

Its Cannes 2026 showcase marked not only a red-carpet appearance but also a larger statement positioning Indian jewellery design within global conversations around fashion, craftsmanship, and conscious luxury.

International visibility for Indian design

The Dewdrops creation received visibility across international fashion and entertainment platforms including Elle, Pinkvilla, and Harper’s Bazaar, highlighting the growing international presence of Indian lab-grown diamond jewellery.

With Seen at Cannes, Sennes now brings that global design story back to India through an immersive showcase celebrating craftsmanship, couture sensibility, and contemporary luxury.
