The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Daman, is set to organise its Graduation Show 2026 on 24th May from 6:00 PM onwards at Hotel Deltin, Daman. The event will showcase the work of graduating students from the Bachelor of Design (Textile Design) and Master of Fashion Management programmes.
Popularly known as the GP Show, the Graduation Project Show marks the culmination of six months of industry-linked graduation projects undertaken by students. The showcase highlights NIFT Daman’s focus on combining academic learning with practical industry exposure.
A total of 21 students from the B.Des. Textile Design programme completed projects across sectors such as home furnishings, apparel fabrics, handicrafts, and sustainable textiles. Collaborating with leading textile mills, export houses, and design studios, the students developed collections featuring innovative weaves, prints, and surface design concepts that merge traditional craftsmanship with modern aesthetics.
Students from the Master of Fashion Management programme worked on projects related to merchandising, retail planning, digital marketing, supply chain management, and branding. Partnering with major brands, export houses, and e-commerce companies, the students created strategic and data-driven solutions addressing current industry challenges.

The institute also shared that several students have secured Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) based on their internship and project performance, while others have received placements across reputed fashion and retail organisations.
The Graduation Show will provide an interactive platform for industry professionals, recruiters, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders to connect with emerging talent. The event is expected to be attended by senior industry leaders, bureaucrats, and policymakers, reflecting the growing importance of nurturing skilled professionals for India’s textile and fashion sectors.
Speaking about the event, Dr Sanjay Shrivastava, Campus Director, NIFT Daman, said:
“The Graduation Show is a culmination of our students’ hard work, creativity, and industry readiness. In six months, they have moved from classrooms to boardrooms, solving real business problems and creating market-ready design solutions. We are proud of this batch and confident they will contribute meaningfully to the industry.”
The Graduation Show 2026 will feature project presentations, walk-through displays, and interaction sessions with graduating students, offering visitors insights into the next generation of textile and fashion professionals.
