Himalaya BabyCare has launched a heartfelt digital video commercial this Mother’s Day, celebrating the evolving journey of motherhood through a baby’s memorable first milestones and the emotions that come with them.

The campaign centres around the emotional idea that while a child’s first experiences mark growth and discovery, they are equally significant for mothers, shaping their emotional journey alongside their children. Through this DVC, Himalaya BabyCare brings focus to the mother’s perspective and the instinctive bond that strengthens with every passing milestone.

Inspired by the nostalgic lullaby Chanda Hai Tu, the film unfolds through a reflective narrative filled with warmth and emotional familiarity. The story begins with a mother preparing her daughter for her very first day at school — a milestone that feels just as emotional for the parent as it does for the child.

As the mother watches her daughter in school uniform, memories from earlier years begin to resurface. The film revisits tender moments shared between mother and child, from baby massages and bath times to playful everyday interactions and caregiving rituals. These simple experiences are portrayed as the building blocks of a deep emotional connection.

The narrative returns to the present as the little girl hugs her mother tightly before heading off to school, symbolising how every “first” in a child’s life also marks a new emotional chapter for the mother. The DVC beautifully portrays the essence of the “Mumma waali feeling” — an instinctive and deeply personal emotion that continues to evolve with every stage of parenthood.

Commenting on the campaign, Chakravarthi N. V. said, “At Himalaya BabyCare, we believe motherhood is shaped by a series of ‘firsts’—fleeting yet deeply meaningful moments that leave a lasting emotional imprint. Through this campaign, we celebrate these everyday experiences that define a mother’s journey. The ‘Mumma waali feeling’, grows with every touch, every milestone, and every memory created along the way. Beyond being just a provider of gentle, safe, and trusted products, we are committed to offering guidance, resources, and support to mothers, helping them navigate this journey with confidence and peace of mind.”

The campaign was created in collaboration with Pocket Aces and its digital content platform FilterCopy, blending emotional storytelling with music that resonates culturally across generations.

Vishwanath Shetty said, “At FilterCopy, we believe the strongest brand stories are those that feel real and authentic. Being part of the same ecosystem as Saregama gives us a unique advantage, allowing us to blend storytelling with iconic music that already carries deep cultural and emotional resonance. Through the warmth and familiarity of ‘Chanda Hain Tu’, we wanted to capture the small yet unforgettable moments of motherhood, making Himalaya BabyCare’s message feel personal and relatable. To deepen our connection with audiences on our youth Tamil channel FilterCopy Enga Area, we also created a Tamil rendition of the track with some of the best in the industry, including Karthik Raja, Padhmalatha, and Ku. Karthik, bringing a fresh yet nostalgic emotional dimension to the narrative.”

The Mother’s Day campaign will be promoted extensively across social and digital platforms, including regional language adaptations aimed at building stronger engagement with audiences across India.
