Centric Software has announced a success story featuring its client DENIOS, highlighting how the company has scaled its omnichannel operations across 22 countries using Centric PXM™.
Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany, DENIOS provides an extensive portfolio of catalogue products alongside custom-engineered safety solutions. Operating through 19 subsidiaries, the company serves industries including chemicals, logistics, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and manufacturing via multilingual B2B e-commerce platforms, catalogues, and integrated procurement systems.
As demand grew, DENIOS faced increasing limitations with its legacy Product Information Management (PIM) system introduced in 2006. The system had become complex, costly, and unable to support modern omnichannel needs. “If we made an update, the entire system would blow up in our face,” recalls Kai Peperkorn, Team Lead Data Excellence at DENIOS. Fragmented systems, manual workflows, and inflexible data structures slowed content creation, complicated localisation, and required repeated rebuilding of product data for each market.
After evaluating more than 170 requirements, DENIOS selected Centric PXM™, an AI-powered platform that integrates PIM, Digital Asset Management (DAM), content syndication, and Digital Shelf Analytics (DSA). The solution enabled the company to centralise product data, automate workflows, and support rapid international growth.
The transformation included redesigning the attribute model, integrating with SAP systems, and migrating the complete digital asset library. With support for over 15 languages, Centric PXM now allows faster localisation while reducing both time and cost for market entry. Today, it functions as a single source of truth for product data across e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, catalogues, and enterprise storefronts.
Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software, says, “We are proud to support DENIOS in its mission to deliver safety innovation at scale. Centric PXM empowers global brands to transform how they manage, enrich and deliver product content. We look forward to continuing this successful partnership.”
The case study also highlights how embedded AI capabilities are playing a critical role in data operations, with DENIOS contributing to feature development that has since become standard within the Centric PXM platform.
