Messe Frankfurt has announced the launch of Val:ue Milan, a new boutique-style business platform that reimagines the traditional trade fair format. Scheduled from 3 to 5 February 2027 at The Mall, Porta Nuova, the event will focus exclusively on a curated selection of premium fabrics and accessories for apparel.
Designed as a highly selective and refined environment, Val:ue Milan aims to facilitate strategic networking between leading global manufacturers and top-tier buyers. The concept moves away from conventional exhibition models, instead offering a focused, high-impact setting built on quality, innovation and meaningful business engagement.
Positioned in Milan, one of the world’s foremost fashion capitals, the initiative leverages the city’s strong ecosystem of design, manufacturing and innovation. The platform is tailored for industry professionals operating at the highest end of the textile sector, encouraging collaboration and new business opportunities within the global premium textile community.
A Selective Platform for Excellence
Val:ue Milan will spotlight advanced textile solutions, high-end materials and accessories, bringing together international producers with designers, buyers and product developers. The platform is intended to translate quality, creativity and technical reliability into long-term partnerships.
“Milan is the crossroads where fashion excellence meets industrial expertise and major international brands,” says Donald Wich, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt Italia. “With Val:ue Milan, we are creating a project that brings these strengths together while opening them to an international dimension – a platform designed to connect selected suppliers from the world’s leading sourcing regions with the European market. The aim is to establish a distinctive hub in Milan for high-end procurement, capable of engaging with existing industry players through a distinctive identity and a profile of excellence”.
“With the launch of Val:ue Milan, we are strategically expanding the reach of our global Texpertise network,” states Detlef Braun, Member of the Executive Board of Messe Frankfurt. “Milan offers an unparalleled stage where a deep-rooted culture of design meets international prestige, making it the natural setting for this new format. This boutique-style business hub sets a new benchmark within our portfolio, reflecting our long-term vision to strengthen our presence in key fashion capitals through a highly differentiated approach, delivering sophisticated, strategic solutions across the entire textile value chain”.
A Concept Rooted in Value and Distinction
The name Val:ue underscores a commitment to substance, quality and long-term collaboration. The platform is designed to bring together a global network of professionals shaping the luxury segment, including specialists in premium materials, transparent supply chains and innovative design.
