Jeanologia, a global leader in eco-efficient textile technologies, is showcasing a new sustainable garment finishing model at Indo Intertex 2026, taking place from April 15 to 18 at the Jakarta International Expo. The event brings together key stakeholders from across the Asia-Pacific textile value chain.

At the exhibition, the company introduces an integrated system combining its artificial intelligence platform “Billy”, laser technology, and G2 Ozone. This approach is designed to transform garment finishing processes into more automated, efficient and environmentally responsible operations.

Building on over 25 years of innovation, Jeanologia continues to advance its laser technology, which originally replaced manual processes such as hand sanding and sandblasting, both known for their environmental impact and health risks. The latest model integrates AI and air-based washing solutions, enabling more precise, clean and efficient production.

Digital creativity with industrial precision
At Indo Intertex 2026, Jeanologia demonstrates enhancements in its laser systems powered by the Billy AI platform. This integration improves design accuracy and consistency, allowing precise replication of vintage effects, wear patterns and complex finishes without manual intervention.

Live demonstrations feature the Compact Super laser system, highlighting its high-speed processing capabilities, improved productivity and consistent output in industrial settings. Increased automation and execution speed enable manufacturers to meet evolving demands for efficiency, digitalisation and sustainability.

The ozone revolution
Complementing laser technology, Jeanologia is also presenting its Atmos process, powered by G2 Ozone and Indra technology. This system replaces traditional water-intensive washing methods with air-based treatments.

G2 Ozone converts oxygen into ozone, acting as a natural oxidising agent for indigo. This enables cleaning, tone adjustment and finishing effects such as abrasion, marbling and colour variation without the use of pumice stones or harmful chemicals. The process significantly reduces water consumption while maintaining high-quality finishes.

The combined use of AI, laser and ozone technologies allows manufacturers to achieve authentic garment aesthetics with minimal environmental impact and no hazardous substances, aligning with the company’s Mission Zero initiative to eliminate water usage and toxic chemicals in textile production.

Asia driving textile transformation
The Asia-Pacific region continues to lead global textile manufacturing, with increasing emphasis on automation, sustainability and traceability. Rising international standards and competitive pressures are accelerating the adoption of advanced production technologies across the region.

Jeanologia has maintained a strong presence in Asia for over two decades, supporting manufacturers and exporters with technological solutions, consultancy and local technical expertise. This long-standing engagement positions the company as a strategic partner in the industry’s transition towards cleaner and more efficient processes.

Commenting on the evolving landscape, Jean-Pierre Inchauspe, Jeanologia’s Business Director for Asia at Jeanologia, said:
“Competitiveness in the textile industry is no longer measured solely in terms of cost, but in the ability to produce efficiently, with traceability and sustainability. The factories adopting this model in Asia are the ones that will lead the global supply chain in the coming years,”
