Strong trade participation at FAB Show 2026 highlights growing industry confidence, as the event continues at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, from April 2 to 4, 2026. Organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), the 6th edition of the Fabrics, Accessories & Beyond (FAB) Show brings together the entire textile and garment value chain, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and advanced technologies.
The event witnessed an impressive turnout at its inauguration, attracting export houses, textile manufacturers, and international suppliers, reaffirming its position as a leading sourcing platform for the apparel industry.
The show was inaugurated by prominent industry leaders including Rushabh Gala of Zola Fashions, Deepak Sheta of Indoera, Santosh Bandari Yadav from Aditya Birla, Kapil Biradar of Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Pragati Srivastava of Rayomd Lifestyle, and Essdee Shanmugasundaram, President of the South India Hosiery Manufacturers’ Association. Representatives from key regional associations such as The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association, Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan, Indore Readymade Vastra Vyapari Sangh, and Eastern UP Exporters Association were also felicitated during the ceremony.
Spread across nearly 2 lakh sq. ft., FAB Show 2026 features more than 250 exhibitors showcasing innovations in fabrics, trims, accessories, machinery, and allied services. As one of India’s largest B2B sourcing platforms for the garment sector, the show enables manufacturers, exporters, retailers, private labels, and e-commerce players to explore new materials, build sourcing partnerships, and enhance operational efficiency. The event is expected to draw over 14,000 trade visitors from more than 320 cities, along with buyers from 27 countries including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the US, UAE, Egypt, Mauritius, and China.
A major highlight this year is the introduction of an International Pavilion, presenting global suppliers alongside strong participation from leading domestic textile clusters such as Surat, Ahmedabad, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Gurugram & NCR, Erode, Tiruppur, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Curated networking sessions are also being organised to facilitate meaningful engagement between brands, exporters, buyers, and decision-makers.
Speaking on the occasion, Santosh Katariya, President, Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), said,
“Our vision is to build SHREE into a ₹ 900 crore brand by 2030, driven by scale, experience, and product expansion. The move towards large-format stores will allow us to present a complete lifestyle offering, while expanding to over 300 stores will significantly strengthen our market reach. With the addition of sarees and growth in men’s ethnic wear, we are evolving into a comprehensive ethnic fashion destination.”
The Surat Pavilion, comprising over 50 stalls, reflects the city’s transformation from a polyester-focused hub to a diversified textile centre producing cotton and sustainable fabrics.
Technology is a key focus at this year’s show, with participation from Artificial Intelligence solution providers offering capabilities across design, manufacturing, inventory, and retail operations. Additionally, a dedicated “Future Factory/Green Factories” segment by Magus Fashion City showcases sustainable and next-generation manufacturing infrastructure.
