PT Apparel One Indonesia has implemented Centric PLM to enhance efficiency and streamline its product development processes. The move marks a significant step towards digital transformation as the company scales its global manufacturing operations.
Part of the Binabusana Internusa Group, Apparel One operates from Semarang, Central Java, managing 120 production lines with a workforce of over 8,000 employees. The company manufactures for leading global brands such as Adidas, Puma, and Napapijri, overseeing processes from pre-production to logistics.
The adoption of Centric PLM is aimed at replacing manual workflows with a unified digital platform, improving collaboration, visibility, and speed across teams. By centralising product data, the company seeks to standardise processes and enable faster, more accurate decision-making.
Daniel Tirta Kristiadi, CEO at Apparel One, said, “Standardizing workflows and working from trusted product data helps our teams move faster while staying focused on quality and innovation as we grow.”
The company selected Centric PLM for its flexibility, robust architecture, and ability to manage dynamic product development cycles, including approvals, version control, and historical data tracking.
Apparel One implemented the platform in phases, ensuring smooth adoption through structured training and close collaboration with Centric’s implementation team. The system is expected to provide real-time access to product data, streamline Bill of Materials (BOM) management, and improve costing and version tracking.
Kristiadi added, “Centric PLM will standardize how we build and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs), track costing and version changes, as well as centralize our data across departments. The system gives us that structure we need today while still allowing room for our business to grow.”
With improved data visibility and integrated workflows, Apparel One is positioned to enhance operational efficiency and scale more effectively within the global apparel supply chain.
Fabrice Canonge commented, “Indonesia plays a vital role in the global apparel supply chain and Apparel One is a standout example of the region’s manufacturing strength. Their focus on innovation, precision and scale aligns perfectly with Centric PLM’s capabilities. We’re extremely pleased that they chose to partner with us on their next chapter as they continue raising the bar for the industry.”
