OVS, Italy’s leading fashion retailer, has officially launched its first Mumbai store at Sky City Mall in Borivali. This marks the brand’s second retail store in India, following the opening of its debut store in New Delhi.
Spanning approximately 11,000 sq. ft., the new Mumbai outlet introduces OVS’s latest global retail concept, designed to offer a seamless and contemporary shopping experience. The store features a comprehensive range of womenswear, menswear, and kidswear, including OVS mainline, PIOMBO, Les Copains, B.Angel, Altavia, and OVS Kids collections.
To mark the launch, OVS unveiled a tram-inspired installation at Sky City Mall ahead of the opening, inspired by the brand’s Italian roots and urban aesthetic. The activation served as a visual highlight, generating excitement and engagement among visitors.
Speaking on the occasion, Sundeep Chugh, Managing Director of OVS India, stated that Mumbai represents a strategic step in the brand’s expansion journey, highlighting the city’s influence in shaping India’s fashion and retail landscape.
Carmine Di Virgilio, Global Chief Retail Officer at OVS, added that India remains a key growth market for the brand. He emphasised the company’s focus on long-term investment, responsible fashion practices, and scalable retail expansion in high-potential markets.
As part of the launch, OVS has also rolled out a city-wide advertising campaign celebrating effortless, instinctive everyday style. The campaign is live across digital platforms and supported by outdoor activations across Mumbai to strengthen brand visibility.
Globally, OVS operates over 2,600 stores and is recognised for blending Italian design with accessible pricing. Sustainability remains integral to the brand’s operations, with ongoing initiatives focused on responsible sourcing, water-efficient processes, and recyclable materials.
The new store is now open at Sky City Mall, offering Mumbai shoppers a wide selection of contemporary fashion across multiple categories.
