Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition 2026 concluded on a high note at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, achieving record participation from both exhibitors and visitors. The event hosted nearly 380 exhibitors from six countries and regions and attracted over 28,500 visitors from 83 countries, marking a 12 percent increase compared to the previous edition.

The exhibition highlighted the growing influence of the sleep economy, with a strong focus on functional, comfortable, and sustainable home textile solutions. Showcased prominently in Hall 5.2, products combined advanced manufacturing techniques with evolving consumer preferences for wellness-driven living.

The fair also saw increased international participation, including the debut of the Uzbekistan Pavilion, alongside strong representation from China’s regional textile clusters. Exhibitors presented a wide range of innovative products, including eco-friendly bedding fabrics, anti-static materials, and blends of natural fibres such as linen and hemp.

Industry insights were further strengthened through the fringe programme, which emphasised sleep innovation and wellness. Dedicated zones and summits explored areas such as temperature regulation, tactile comfort, and sleep solutions tailored for different age groups.

Experts at the event highlighted a shift in consumer demand towards products that enhance sleep quality, with breathable, skin-friendly fabrics gaining prominence. Sustainability also remained a central theme, with increasing focus on recyclable materials and transparent production practices.

The event attracted a high-quality global audience, including buyers from Europe, the US, the Middle East, and Asia. Many participants noted strong sourcing opportunities, particularly in eco-friendly and high-performance textiles.

Held alongside major textile and fashion exhibitions, the Spring Edition reinforced its role as a comprehensive sourcing and networking platform across the entire textile value chain.
