Lakmé, in collaboration with péro, brought the curtains down on Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI with a compelling Grand Finale showcase at the Jio World Convention Centre. The presentation introduced the Lakmē 9to5 Hya Beach Edit, celebrating the modern working individual who seamlessly balances ambition with moments of pause and self-expression.

The showcase highlighted a narrative of duality, capturing the rhythm of contemporary lifestyles where work and escape coexist. Actor Aneet Padda took to the runway, embodying the confident and expressive spirit of the Lakmē woman.

Bringing this vision to life, péro’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection titled ‘Out of Office’ reimagined the everyday workspace as a metaphor for routine and escape. Designed by Aneeth Arora, the collection explored minimalism through handcrafted elements, focusing on texture, tone, and purity of form. The designs reflected a serene aesthetic, transitioning from structured office environments to moments of freedom and relaxation.

Commenting on the collaboration, Sunanda Khaitan, CMO, Beauty & Wellbeing at Hindustan Unilever Limited, emphasised that the showcase celebrated the multifaceted identity of the modern working woman, highlighting ambition, individuality, and the importance of balance. She noted that the Lakmē 9to5 Hya Beach Edit was designed to translate this journey from work to leisure into a vibrant runway narrative.

Aneeth Arora added that presenting the collection at the Grand Finale created a unique space that transformed everyday routines into an expressive and immersive experience. The collection seamlessly complemented Lakmē’s beauty vision, portraying a woman who moves effortlessly between structure and spontaneity.

Reflecting on her experience, Aneet Padda shared that walking the Grand Finale felt like representing a mindset rooted in individuality, fluidity, and self-expression, aligning with Lakmē’s celebration of the modern working woman.

The Grand Finale marked a fitting conclusion to the season, merging Lakmē’s beauty innovation with péro’s craft-led storytelling, and celebrating individuals who navigate their personal and professional journeys with confidence and authenticity.
