Celebrities Showcase Desert Diamonds at the 32nd Actors Awards

Natural diamonds took center stage at the 32nd Actors Awards, with several leading celebrities showcasing elegant jewellery on the red carpet. Stars including Jessie Buckley, Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson and Michelle Williams embraced the growing trend of Desert diamonds—natural stones known for their warm tones ranging from soft whites to pale cognac shades.

The red carpet featured a variety of natural diamond pieces that reflected individuality and modern sophistication. Award winners Jessie Buckley and Michelle Williams dazzled in natural diamonds, while nominees Kate Hudson and Rose Byrne wore stones sourced from Botswana and Namibia respectively. The jewellery designs highlighted the versatility and timeless appeal of natural diamonds in contemporary fashion.

Desert Diamonds Lead the Trend

Desert diamonds, characterized by their naturally warm hues, emerged as one of the defining jewellery trends of the evening.

Kate Hudson embraced the look with custom designs by Emily P. Wheeler. Her ensemble included an open torque necklace featuring a pale cognac Desert diamond, statement bubble rings with Botswana-sourced Desert diamond center stones, and a modern interpretation of the brand’s twist silhouette set with an east-west moval cognac diamond. She complemented the look with bubble fringe earrings accented with pale cognac Desert diamonds.

Rose Byrne also opted for Desert diamonds, wearing sunlit white natural diamond pieces from Messika sourced from Namibia, including EM Divine Enigma rings and Sirenetta earrings. Michelle Williams selected Messika jewellery as well, wearing the Créoles PM Snake Dance earrings along with the Totem Coeur ring.

Jessie Buckley interpreted the trend with warm white Desert diamond earrings, a diamond button-back necklace and a pear-shaped diamond button-back ring designed by Jessica McCormack.

Statement Earrings Dominate the Carpet

Earrings stood out as one of the evening’s most prominent jewellery trends. Chandelier styles were particularly eye-catching, worn by celebrities such as Chase Infiniti in De Beers London pieces, Mindy Kaling in Bucherer Fine Jewellery, and Demi Moore in Harry Winston designs. Calista Flockhart also drew attention with dramatic feather-shaped diamond earrings by LEVIEV.

Circular and hoop silhouettes were also widely seen. Zanna Roberts Rassi wore Martin Katz diamond circle earrings, Hannah Einbinder selected square hoop styles by Fope, Rhea Seehorn chose teardrop hoops by Marco Bicego, and Kristen Bell wore diamond drop earrings by Messika.

More compact ear-hugging styles were spotted as well, with Yerin Ha wearing David Yurman floating diamond shrimp earrings and Teyana Taylor choosing Tiffany & Co. ear clips. Meanwhile, classic diamond studs remained a timeless choice, seen on Jacob Elordi, Michael B. Jordan, Connor Storrie, Tyler, the Creator, Miles Caton, and Sarah Pidgeon.

Close-Fit Diamond Necklaces

Another notable jewellery trend was the rise of close-fitting necklaces such as torques and structured diamond collars. Sarah Paulson showcased the look in a Boucheron necklace, while Sheryl Lee Ralph wore a De Beers London design. Connor Storrie appeared in a Tiffany & Co. mixed cluster diamond collar, and Rhea Seehorn opted for a refined Marco Bicego piece. Teyana Taylor, Ali Larter and Wunmi Mosaku also embraced the style with pieces from Tiffany & Co., Repossi and Messika.

Statement Rings Complete the Look

Statement rings served as the finishing touch for many celebrities. Kristen Bell wore the Messika by Kate Moss Exotic Charm ring, while Connor Storrie chose a Tiffany & Co. design. Tyler, the Creator added a bold yellow diamond ring to his look, further highlighting the popularity of warm-toned Desert diamonds. Wunmi Mosaku wore a large Messika ring, while Zanna Roberts Rassi selected two Martin Katz designs, including a modified heart rose-cut trillion diamond ring and an Asscher-cut diamond eternity band.

Desert diamonds continue to capture attention for their unique natural tones and geological origin, representing stones shaped by time and nature. Their presence on the Actors Awards red carpet reinforced their growing popularity as a distinctive and elegant choice in modern jewellery design.
