Discover e-Solutions (DeSL), a leading provider of digital transformation and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software for the fashion, apparel, and textile sectors, has announced the successful go-live of its cloud-based PLM solution at Spark Factory.

Headquartered in Quebec, Spark Factory chose DeSL to modernise its product development operations and bring all teams onto a single, unified digital platform. The implementation includes key DeSL modules such as Line Planning, Workspaces, Fast Product Management, Tech Packs, Fast Tech Pack Management, POM Templates, the Adobe Illustrator Plug-in, Critical Path and Request for Development tools, and internal collaboration threads. Together, these modules connect design, development, and production within one streamlined system.

Before adopting DeSL, Spark Factory relied heavily on spreadsheets and email-based workflows, which led to data silos, limited visibility, and inefficiencies across teams. With DeSL’s integrated PLM ecosystem now in place, the company benefits from centralised product data, automated workflows, and improved collaboration across departments. The platform provides real-time visibility into product status, aligns development milestones, and ensures teams work from a single source of accurate information.

“We wanted to move away from outdated technology and fragmented systems,” said Caroline Sauve, Vice President of Operations and Product Development at Spark Factory. “DeSL gives us one consolidated space where everyone can track products, monitor progress, and access the information needed to make faster, more informed decisions.”

The implementation also strengthens creative and technical collaboration through DeSL’s Adobe Illustrator Plug-in, allowing designers to link artwork directly to the PLM system. This integration reduces duplicate data entry, keeps designs synchronised, and speeds up the transition from concept to development.

In addition, DeSL’s latest PLM generation introduces AI-powered capabilities that automate repetitive tasks, enhance data accuracy, and generate actionable insights, supporting Spark Factory’s broader digital transformation goals.

“Spark Factory’s decision to adopt DeSL reflects a strong commitment to automation, transparency, and data integrity,” said Colin Marks, CEO of DeSL. “By replacing legacy processes with an intelligent, future-ready PLM foundation, they are well positioned for long-term growth.”
