REHAU Interior Solutions has launched House of REHAU, its first experiential brand destination in India. The launch marks a major milestone in the company’s long-term growth strategy in the Indian market.
This initiative signals REHAU’s shift from traditional product-led retail to experience-driven brand engagement. The move aligns with the changing expectations of architects, interior designers, developers, and construction professionals across India.
An Immersive Experience Beyond a Conventional Showroom
Conceptualised as an immersive destination, House of REHAU moves beyond the idea of a conventional showroom. Located at 6/85, Sector 11, Gurugram, Haryana, the Experiential Centre brings together REHAU’s strengths in material science, German engineering, and design-led innovation.
The space allows professionals to explore interior surfaces, decorative solutions, and furniture components through integrated, real-world applications. As a result, visitors can better understand how REHAU’s solutions perform across residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors.
Leadership Perspectives on India’s Strategic Importance
The launch event was attended by Dr. Thomas Troeger, Chief Executive Officer, REHAU Interior Solutions, and Mr. Tushar Verma, Executive Vice President, REHAU India and Subcontinent. Both leaders shared insights on REHAU’s global vision and India’s growing role in the company’s strategy.
Speaking on the launch, Dr. Thomas Troeger said that House of REHAU reflects how the brand wants customers to engage through experience, dialogue, and material intelligence. He also emphasised that India remains one of REHAU’s most important growth markets, both in demand and manufacturing capability.
Experience-Led Engagement for Design-Led Surfaces
Mr. Tushar Verma highlighted that House of REHAU represents the next phase of the brand’s India journey. He noted that decorative surfaces are evolving from functional elements into lifestyle-driven design statements. Through this platform, REHAU demonstrates how innovation, performance, and aesthetics address real-world design requirements.
With more than seven decades of global expertise, REHAU is known for high-performance polymer solutions that replace conventional materials. Its interior solutions portfolio includes decorative surfaces, edge bands, boards, laminates, flooring, and furniture components. These are engineered as integrated systems rather than standalone products.
Retail Expansion and Investment Roadmap in India
REHAU outlined an ambitious retail expansion plan for India. Over the next three years, the company aims to scale to more than 50 retail touchpoints. These will include large-format experience centres in major metros and compact studios in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
The expansion will be supported by a ₹50 crore investment focused on retail infrastructure, brand building, and long-term customer engagement.
Strengthening Manufacturing and Global Capabilities
The company also reaffirmed India’s role as a key manufacturing and global capability hub. REHAU highlighted ongoing and planned investments, including the acquisition of REDSTAR Polymers, a land parcel in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, a proposed third manufacturing facility in India, and a 100,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Gujarat.
These initiatives support REHAU’s commitment to the Make in India vision and strengthen its ability to serve markets across South-East Asia and the Middle East.
Sustainability at the Core of REHAU’s Strategy
Sustainability continues to remain central to REHAU’s operations. The company integrates material responsibility, renewable energy adoption, water recycling, and circular manufacturing practices across its global footprint. REHAU also confirmed the upcoming release of its sustainability report, reinforcing its focus on transparency and long-term environmental stewardship.
Shaping the Future of Interior Design
With House of REHAU, the brand aims to create a collaborative platform for the design and building ecosystem. The initiative reflects REHAU’s philosophy of combining engineering precision, material innovation, and design relevance to shape the future of interiors in India and beyond.
