Clean India Show & Laundrex India 2025 Spotlight AI and Sustainability

The Clean India Show, co-located with Laundrex India, concluded successfully at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The integrated exhibition highlighted next-generation technologies in cleaning, hygiene, facility management, laundry care and industrial cleaning.

Over three days, the show attracted 8,762 visitors from 266 Indian cities. Additionally, international visitors from 18 countries enhanced the event’s global reach. A strong turnout from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities reflected growing nationwide demand for advanced cleaning and hygiene solutions.

Strong Focus on Technology and Sustainability

Organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India in association with Virtual Info Systems (VIS Group), the exhibition showcased innovations across robotic cleaning systems, automation software, air quality monitoring, green chemicals and waterless sanitation technologies.

Moreover, solutions for waste management, surface maintenance, city cleaning systems, vehicle care and hygienic linen care drew strong interest. The presence of eco-friendly and resource-efficient products reinforced the industry’s sustainability focus.

Participation from Government and Urban Bodies

The event witnessed strong participation from railways, urban local bodies, smart city officials, state departments, town planners and research organisations. As key implementers of public infrastructure initiatives, these stakeholders contributed actively to conferences and exhibition discussions.

Dedicated Pavilions Highlight Innovation

This year’s edition featured two focused zones:

  • Smart City Pavilion: Showcased sanitation, hygiene and waste management technologies aligned with urban planning.

  • Start-up Pavilion: Highlighted emerging companies offering drones, smart cleaning tools, advanced chemicals and sustainable innovations.

Together, these pavilions reflected the growing role of technology-driven solutions in urban and industrial hygiene.

Conferences and Knowledge Exchange Drive Engagement

The Clean India Show hosted multiple high-impact conferences.
The Waste Management and Technology Conference explored smart city models and scalable solutions. Meanwhile, the CEO2CEO Roundtable enabled strategic discussions among industry leaders.

In addition, the DIGIFM Conference focused on digital transformation in facility management. The CREFM Masterstroke Awards recognised excellence in corporate real estate and FM, while Laundrex Net spotlighted next-generation laundry innovations.

Exhibitor Feedback Highlights Business Value

Exhibitors reported strong engagement with decision-makers and buyers.

Manoj Wanvari, COO, O’terri, said the event delivered meaningful interactions with the Indian laundry community. He noted strong interest in tracking and traceability solutions.

Live demonstrations attracted significant attention. KTV Drone India showcased cleaning drones, while Kinetiq RRobotics demonstrated AI-powered robotic cleaning systems. Both brands reported strong buyer interest and quality leads.

Laundrex India Sees Growing Industry Momentum

At Laundrex India, Borghi India demonstrated its Star Gamma broom and brush production machine. According to Gianluca Novelli, Borghi SPA, the platform continues to attract manufacturers and distributors seeking reliable machinery partners.

Meanwhile, Whirlpool Corporation showcased its commercial laundry brand Maytag in India. The company highlighted rising demand for professional laundry solutions across hospitality and institutional segments.

International Exhibitors Note Strong Market Potential

First-time exhibitor SMRT Systems from Sweden launched its AI-enabled platform at the show. The company reported unexpectedly high interest from Indian laundry and dry-cleaning businesses, underlining India’s readiness for automation-led solutions.

Positive Visitor Experience and Outlook

Visitors praised the show’s ambience, timing and comprehensive solution mix. Many highlighted the value of live demonstrations and interactive conferences.

The growing visitor turnout compared to previous editions reflects the event’s increasing relevance across industries.

Next Edition Announced

The next edition of the Clean India Show will be held from 17–19 March 2027 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The show remains part of Messe Frankfurt’s global Textile Care, Cleaning & Cleanroom Technologies portfolio.
