According to reports, Kering, a French luxury behemoth, is close to buying Tom Ford. The Wall Street Journal claims that Kering is the front-runner in the race for the company against the luxury behemoth Estée Lauder.
Tom Ford has reportedly been exploring the possibility of selling since this summer, according to Business of Fashion. In an agreement that would have valued Tom Ford’s brand at $3 billion USD, Estée Lauder was rumoured to be in talks to buy the business in August.
Regarding the probable purchase of Tom Ford, Kering has not yet made any remarks.
