Interior designers balance creativity and precision to craft harmonious spaces. They often work in small teams and under pressure to deliver perfect results. Heimtextil 2026, taking place from 13 to 16 January in Frankfurt, aims to make their work easier with a new hall structure. It provides clear organization, faster navigation, and valuable inspiration for daily design practice.
In Halls 3.0, 3.1, and 4.1, designers will find every element for complete room solutions — from wallpapers to upholstery fabrics. Each display is arranged by function, making it easier to explore materials in a holistic context. As a result, the trade fair becomes not just an exhibition, but a practical design tool.
DecoTeam Brings Inspiration to Interior Design Trade
At the heart of Hall 3.0, DecoTeam will unite leading suppliers under the theme “Happy up your Home.” Exhibitors include Alfred Apelt, Erfal, Höpke Möbelstoffe, Karl F. Buchheister, MHZ Hachtel, and Paulig Teppichweberei.
On Wednesday, 14 January 2026, the spotlight will be on the interior design trade. The event features a lecture titled “Design to be Happy – International Interior Trends” by Corinna Kretschmar-Joehnk, followed by a hands-on AI design workshop led by Axel Ligowski. These sessions will help designers use digital tools to bring creative ideas to life.
Design Lounge: Where Brands and Creativity Meet
The Design Lounge powered by DecoTeam will showcase an impressive mix of global brands. These include Brink & Campmann (Harlequin, Morris & Co, Ted Baker, Wedgwood Home) and Designers Guild (Christian Lacroix, Ralph Lauren).
The showcase also features Haro Carpets, Kadeco Sun Protection Systems, Kobe Fabrics, Otto Golze, and Somfy. Visitors can explore collections from Stoeckel & Grimmler (JOOP! Living, Schöner Wohnen, Esprit Home), wallpaper maker Hembus, and Theo Keller / Theko, known for brands like Sansibar Sylt and Tom Tailor.
Global Showcase of Upholstery and Decorative Fabrics
In Halls 3.1 and 4.1, Heimtextil will present the world’s largest range of upholstery and decorative fabrics, including both real and imitation leather. Exhibitors include Dickson Constant (Sunbrella, France), Edmund Bell (UK), Manuel Revert and Nova Tapiceria (Spain), Vanelli Tekstil (Turkey), and Vescom Velvets (Netherlands).
The Fibres & Yarns section brings together leaders in production, weaving, and design. Brands such as Angles Textil (Spain), Filtrading (Italy), Indorama Ventures Fibers (Germany), and Tintoria Sala (Italy) will display innovative textile materials that support sustainability and performance.
According to Bettina Bär, Director of Heimtextil, “Interior designers need quick access to reliable partners and inspiring materials. Heimtextil 2026 offers both — in one place, thoughtfully structured for creative workflows.”
Heimtextil 2026 will once again prove to be a global hub where design, craftsmanship, and innovation intersect. It’s a must-visit event for professionals seeking inspiration, collaboration, and creative excellence in interior design.
