TEXTILCOLOR AG, a leader in textile chemistry, has announced a new partnership with Alpex Protection, Majocchi, and Trans-Textil. The collaboration will enhance the application of Pyroshell™ flame-retardant technology at production facilities in Germany, France, and Italy.

Pyroshell™ offers permanent flame protection for polyamide and polyester fabrics. This patented innovation is transforming safety standards in synthetic textiles. When exposed to fire, the fabric expands in volume and creates a protective barrier. As a result, it keeps heat and harmful gases away from the wearer. The time between the first sensation of heat and the onset of burns nearly doubles, giving users valuable extra seconds to react.

Through this partnership, the companies will streamline Pyroshell™ integration in production. They aim to make advanced flame protection available to a broader customer base.

  • Alpex Protection (France) specializes in high-performance functional textiles.

  • Majocchi (Italy) produces fabrics for the military, PPE, and luxury sectors.

  • Trans-Textil (Germany) develops innovative materials for safety and operational use.

Together, they plan to deliver durable, safe, and comfortable protective fabrics for professional and industrial users across Europe.

“We are very excited about collaborating with our experienced partners in Germany, France, and Italy,” said Detlef Fischer, CEO of TEXTILCOLOR AG. “Together, we can leverage Pyroshell™ optimally within the production process. The technology provides not only maximum protection but also exceptional comfort for users in demanding environments.”

This collaboration reinforces TEXTILCOLOR AG’s commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainable textile technology. With the growing demand for advanced protective fabrics, the Pyroshell™ partnership marks a key step toward a safer and smarter future for textile engineering.
