Juan Parès Elected New ITMF President for 2025–2027

The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) announced the election of its new Board for the 2025–2027 term during the ITMF Annual Conference & IAF World Fashion Convention 2025 held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Mr. Juan Parès (Spain) has been unanimously elected as the new President of ITMF. His biography is available on the official ITMF website.

Mr. Mustafa Denizer (Türkiye) was re-elected, and Ms. Yan Yan (China) was newly elected as Vice Presidents of the Federation.
Mr. Ernesto Maurer (Switzerland) continues as Honorary Treasurer.

The following members were re-elected as Non-Executive Board Members:

  • Mr. Salman Ispahani (Bangladesh)

  • Mr. Yingxin Xu (China)

  • Ms. Suchita Jain Oswal (India)

  • Mr. Tae Jin Kang (Korea)

  • Mr. Anees Khawaja (Pakistan)

  • Mr. Stefan Hutter (Singapore)

  • Mr. Uday Gill (Thailand)

Newly elected Non-Executive Board Members include Mr. Ernst Grimmelt (Germany) and Mr. Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu (India).

Additionally, Mr. Rafael Cervone (Brazil), Mr. Mohammad Kassem (Egypt), Mrs. Michelle Tjokrosaputro (Indonesia), Mr. Loek de Vries (Netherlands), and Mr. Muharrem Kayhan (Türkiye) were co-opted to the Board.

The Federation also honored Mr. K. V. Srinivasan (India) with the title of Honorary Life Member in recognition of his exceptional contribution as Vice President (2018–2023) and President (2023–2025).
