TechnoSport, India’s fastest-growing activewear brand, is setting its sights on Eastern India as a key growth hub with the launch of two new Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) in Mani Square Mall, Kolkata, and Sentrum Mall, Asansol. These additions raise the brand’s nationwide EBO count to 21, marking a major milestone in its retail expansion strategy.

The company has built strong momentum with EBO revenues doubling year-on-year and an 83% conversion rate on footfalls, placing it firmly on track to achieve its ambitious ₹600 crore revenue target for FY 2025–26.

The Kolkata store, spread across 1714 sq. ft., was inaugurated by Indian footballer Pritam Kotal, reinforcing TechnoSport’s strong sporting identity. The launch included a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a high-energy Zumba session that created a festive atmosphere.

Puspen Maity, CEO of TechnoSport, said:
“The timing of this launch couldn’t be better, as we step into the auspicious period of Durga Puja and the festive season. The East is a strategically important market for us, and customer insights have guided our plans to open more demand-led outlets in the region. We are cheerful and confident about replicating our success here. Our newly opened Kolkata outlet is designed to bring a fresh shopping experience that allows people to truly connect with the brand, explore our latest innovations, and experience the quality of products that support their active lifestyles. It will also serve as a vibrant hub for fitness enthusiasts, young consumers, and lifestyle-conscious customers in the city.”

The move also supports regional job creation and economic growth, leveraging East India’s skilled workforce. Recently, TechnoSport signed a ₹100 crore MoU with the Government of Odisha to establish a state-of-the-art activewear manufacturing unit that will employ over 1,000 workers, strengthening both industrial and social impact.

TechnoSport’s new outlets showcase its complete activewear collection, engineered with in-house fabric innovations like Cotflex (4-way stretch and memory function), Techno Dry (quick-dry performance), and Matpiq (matte texture with soft hand feel). Advanced technologies such as TECHNOCOOL+, TechnoGuard (antimicrobial protection), and UPF 50+ sun protection further enhance comfort, durability, and performance, making the apparel ideal for workouts and everyday wear.
