eVent® Fabrics, a leader in breathable, waterproof, weatherproof, and windproof laminate technologies, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Alé Cycling, Italy’s renowned cycling apparel brand. This collaboration introduces eVent’s PFAS-free stormburstLT laminate—first launched in early 2025—to the cycling industry for the very first time.

Designed for fast and light adventures, stormburstLT is lightweight, highly breathable, and stretchable, while also providing resistance to light rain and snow. The PFAS-free technology ensures comfort by allowing heat and moisture to escape, making it especially suitable for sudden weather changes during rides.
For this launch, eVent collaborated with ITTTAI, an Italian premium apparel manufacturer specializing in technical fabrics. ITTTAI integrates stormburstLT into Alé’s newest releases, the FAN and TRACCIA cycling jackets.

Alé FAN Jacket (€215, men & women):
Engineered for winter cycling (-3 to 6℃), this 3-layer laminate jacket combines eVent stormburstLT with a breathable, quick-drying fleece liner featuring a 3D hexagonal structure. The design incorporates Alé’s Body Mapping system, offering warmth, breathability, and water repellency. A full DWR treatment ensures effective protection against light rain. -
Alé TRACCIA Jacket (€195, men):
Built for fall and spring rides (0 to 12℃), this lighter version of the FAN jacket focuses on intense cycling sessions. With body mapping for ventilation, aerodynamic raw-cut cuffs, a secure rear hem grip, reflective branding, and sleek styling, the TRACCIA combines performance with modern sophistication.
