The CO2-based Fuels and Chemicals Conference 2026 has officially opened its call for abstracts, inviting global innovators in Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) and Power-to-X to present their breakthroughs. The event will be held 28–29 April 2026 in Cologne, Germany as a hybrid format, attracting over 230 experts from industry, research, and policy each year.
The conference will spotlight the transformation of CO2 into fuels, chemicals, polymers, and even alternative proteins, while offering insights into technology, markets, and regulation. Against the backdrop of the EU Net-Zero Industry Act, the forum will highlight CCU’s growing role, with annual CO2-based product output already exceeding 1.5 million tonnes.
