Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition opens tomorrow (2–4 September) at the National Exhibition and Convention Center. With over 3,700 exhibitors from 26 countries and regions, the fair is set to reaffirm its status as the leading global platform for apparel fabrics and sourcing.

Now entering its fourth decade, the event is more than a trade fair—it is a hub for innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration. This year’s edition will showcase nine country and region pavilions, eight group pavilions, and feature thematic zones such as Innovation & Digital Solutions, Bespoke Performance, and the debut Essential Suits & Shirts zone, curated for the ready-to-wear market.

Exhibitors range from textile giants like Itochu (Japan), Fibrant (Netherlands), and Wendler Einlagen (Germany), to leading group pavilion participants such as Hyosung, Lenzing, LYCRA, PRUTEX, and Sorona. Buyers from across Asia, Europe, and new delegations from Brazil and Türkiye are set to attend.

Complementing the showcase, a 37-seminar fringe programme will spotlight four central themes—Design & Trends, Market Strategy, Technology & Solutions, and Sustainability. Experts from WGSN, HKRITA, OEKO-TEX®, and others will provide valuable insights shaping the textile industry’s future.

Intertextile Apparel runs concurrently with Yarn Expo Autumn, CHIC, and PH Value, alongside free access to Cinte Techtextil China (3–5 September). Together, these events present the entire apparel and technical textile value chain in one trip.
