Trident Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of terry towels and a leading textiles and paper conglomerate, has been honoured with the Best In-house Studio award at the prestigious India’s Best Design Awards (IBDA) 2025.
In a rare double achievement, Trident was also conferred the GOAT – The Design Award, an accolade reserved for past winners of “Best Design Studio” who have demonstrated enduring excellence and leadership over the past decade. Having secured the Best In-house Studio title multiple times in 2021, 2022, 2023, and now 2025, Trident has cemented its position as a design powerhouse of India.
Presented at the 10th edition of the Design India Show, the awards celebrate creativity and innovation across industries. Trident’s 50+ strong in-house studio—comprising designers from leading institutions such as NID and NIFT—has been recognised for combining sustainability, storytelling, and global trend research to create products that resonate with consumers worldwide.
From luxury jacquard towels and bed linen to eco-friendly packaging and campaign design, the team’s portfolio reflects capabilities in trend forecasting, surface patterns, product innovation, and visual storytelling. Notable design-led projects include the Vasant collection, the Bharat Tex showcase, and the Prakriti collection.
This recognition highlights Trident’s philosophy of integrating design thinking with sustainability and innovation, reaffirming its role as a pioneering force in India’s design and manufacturing ecosystem.
