GD Goenka Skills, the skilling arm of the GD Goenka Group, which operates over 150 schools nationwide, has announced strategic collaborations with JSW, Spark Minda, and Havells to implement impactful skill development initiatives across India. These programs are aligned with the Government of India’s “Skill India” and “Viksit Bharat” missions, aiming to bridge workforce gaps through industry-relevant training.

As part of its collaboration with JSW, GD Goenka Skills is executing the Eklavya Skill Training Program across North India. The program targets fabricators, masons, and engineers—especially from underserved communities—offering technical training, practical exposure, and workplace readiness skills. The initiative is designed to enhance employability and build a steady pipeline of skilled professionals for India’s expanding infrastructure and manufacturing industries.

In partnership with Spark Minda, the institution is rolling out a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) program under PMKVY 4.0. This initiative focuses on upskilling and certifying the semi-skilled workforce in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. By formally recognizing existing skills, bridging competency gaps, and aligning training with NSDC standards, the program provides workers with improved career growth opportunities.

Additionally, GD Goenka Skills has partnered with Havells India Ltd. to execute a nationwide Electricians Training Program. The program equips electricians with updated technical knowledge, safety compliance, and smart electrical system expertise. Delivered across multiple states through GD Goenka’s advanced training infrastructure and expert faculty, the initiative aims to build a certified, future-ready pool of electrical professionals.

Commenting on these collaborations, Nipun Goenka, MD, GD Goenka Group, said: “These partnerships reflect our vision to create a transformative impact in the skill development ecosystem. By collaborating with forward-looking companies like JSW, Spark Minda, and Havells, we are not only training individuals but helping shape a skilled India equipped for global competitiveness.”

Through these partnerships, GD Goenka Group reinforces its role as a trusted partner in learning and development for corporates. With a strong focus on academic excellence, technology-driven training, and industry collaboration, the institution continues to expand its contribution to India’s skilling ecosystem.
