The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has partnered with quick-commerce platform Zepto to accelerate the growth of India’s manufacturing startup ecosystem. This collaboration is designed to give early-stage manufacturing ventures direct market access through Zepto’s extensive supply chain, enabling them to reach customers faster and more efficiently.

The initiative will offer participating startups mentorship from industry leaders, operational guidance, and opportunities to test products in live market conditions. By combining DPIIT’s policy support with Zepto’s logistical and customer network, the program aims to address key challenges in scaling production, improving quality standards, and enhancing distribution efficiency.

This strategic tie-up aligns with India’s broader vision to promote innovation-driven entrepreneurship, strengthen domestic manufacturing, and create sustainable business models that can compete globally.
