  • Signature Global’s First-Ever Project to Receive Platinum-Level Certification

One of India’s top real estate firms, Signature Global (India) Ltd., today declared that the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has awarded its affordable housing project, Signature Global Prime, situated at Golf Course Extension Road in Sector 63A, Gurugram, the esteemed Platinum certification. It is one of the few affordable housing developments in the nation to receive this honor.

This achievement further solidifies Signature Global’s dedication to sustainable growth as Signature Global Prime becomes the company’s first-ever project to obtain Platinum-level accreditation. With an emphasis on energy efficiency, water conservation, waste management, the use of eco-friendly materials, and total environmental effect, projects that achieve the highest requirements of sustainability and environmental performance are granted the IGBC Platinum accreditation.

On this development Mr. Lalit Aggarwal, Co-founder & Vice Chairman, Signature Global (India) Ltd., said, “This recognition is a testament to our commitment to sustainable and responsible development. By integrating eco-friendly and energy-efficient practices, we aim to set new benchmarks in green real estate. At Signature Global, our focus remains on creating environmentally responsible homes that enhance the quality of life while contributing to a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future. We will continue to adopt innovative green building solutions that align with global sustainability standards and redefine sustainable housing in India.”

Signature Global Prime is made up of 118 high street retail stores and 817 residential apartments spread across 5.7 acres. Signature Global Prime has recognized its best-in-class green practices and environmental stewardship by raising its sustainability benchmark from Gold to Platinum certification. This certification serves as a globally recognized benchmark and honors buildings that are pioneers in sustainable design and construction. An eco-design approach, water conservation, energy efficiency, green interior materials, indoor environmental quality, and interior design innovation were among the evaluation criteria.

The growing significance of sustainability in the real estate industry, particularly in inexpensive housing, is shown by the IGBC Platinum accreditation. High-quality environmental projects reduce energy and water use, which eventually lowers operating costs and promotes resource efficiency.
