Tata CLiQ Luxury Unveils ‘Thinking Beyond the Cart’ for 2025

~Launched at The Luxe Life: Edition 4 event, the digital compilation delves into the impact of the internet economy on the luxury landscape, offering insights into what people are buying, consuming, and how they are living~

Through its yearly thought leadership IP, The Luxe Life, Tata CLiQ Luxury has been analyzing the continuous development of luxury in India since 2021. “The Luxe Life: Edition 4” marks the return of Tata CLiQ Luxury, India’s leading luxury lifestyle platform, following the tremendous success of the first three editions. The platform has released a collection of leadership interviews titled “Thinking Beyond the Cart: Elevating Luxury E-Commerce,” which focuses on emerging and changing luxury. The digital compilation, which offers a transformative investigation of Luxury 3.0, includes 103 prominent voices driving the business today, 36 industry experts’ perspectives, and 13 macro trends. The compilation provides meaningful insights on what consumers are purchasing, consuming, and living, delving deeply into the modern consumer from Gen Z to Gen Grey.

The digital economy is changing how, when, and why customers interact with brands and businesses by altering consumption habits and values, driven by the growing Gen-Z population and the spending power of mature millennials. The theme—from e-commerce to extraordinary commerce—reflects this development and serves as the foundation for an in-depth examination of new developments in the luxury market. The compilation explores the emergence of democratized luxury, significant growth drivers, daring consumer shifts, and technologies influencing the future. It includes viewpoints from well-known luxury thought leaders from India and throughout the world, covering a variety of industries, including fashion, business, hospitality, beauty, and automobiles.

The Luxe Life: Edition 4 event, which was co-hosted by Diageo India and The Quorum, included a panel discussion on the subject of Gen Z to Gen Grey: The Who, What, & Why of Adding to Cart. Nonita Kalra, Editor-in-Chief, Tata CLiQ Luxury, moderated the panel, which featured Santosh Iyer, Managing Director, Mercedes-Benz India; Nikhil Mehra, co-founder, Shantnu & Nikhil; Kadambari Lakhani, CEO and Director at Baccarose Perfumes and Beauty Products Pvt. Ltd.; and Pernia Qureshi, Fashion Entrepreneur. A fireside talk with actor-turned-author, writer, and entrepreneur Twinkle Khanna on the topic of Luxury 3.0: The Intersection of Style, Sustainability & Storytelling ensued. Actor, talk show host, and author Simone Singh moderated the conversation. The compilation’s major digital unveiling marked the end of the event.

Insightful discussions and films from international tastemakers and luxury insiders were featured in the first three editions of “The Luxe Life.” The second edition, which took place in March 2022, was a five-day digital film and shopping festival with a #visionforfuture. The inaugural edition took place in July 2021 and aimed to #decodethenew ideas and themes that drive Luxury with Purpose across fashion, beauty, design, and more.
