Singapore’s first all-villa resort to start welcoming guests on March 1, 2025
The first all-villa resort in the nation, Raffles Sentosa Singapore, is thrilled to announce that it is now accepting reservations for stays, weddings and events, as well as spa and culinary experiences. A thrilling new chapter for the legendary Raffles brand, which was established in Singapore in 1887 with the opening of Raffles Singapore, is marked by the hotel, which is scheduled to open on March 1, 2025.
The resort is conveniently located within a 15-minute drive from Singapore’s Central Business District, tucked away among 100,000 square meters of tropical flora on Sentosa island, the first island destination in Asia to receive GSTC certification. With its hilltop location and verdant surroundings, Raffles Sentosa Singapore will provide visitors with a private, natural environment.
The renowned customs and world-renowned hospitality of the Raffles brand, along with nature, heritage, and wellness, will combine to create genuinely remarkable experiences at Raffles Sentosa Singapore, according to Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, Cluster General Manager of Raffles Sentosa Singapore and Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa. “The resort will also provide the ideal location for significant milestone celebrations, family get-togethers, and private retreats.”
Raffles Sentosa Singapore, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, will include 62 villas, with the four-bedroom Royal Villa being 650 square meters and the one-bedroom pool villa at 210 square meters. A private pool and outdoor patio are features of each villa, and panoramic views of the beautiful vegetation are framed by large floor-to-ceiling windows. The resort’s renowned Raffles Butler service will also be available to guests, making sure all of their needs are satisfied.
The spa at Raffles Sentosa Singapore, which is housed in a renovated heritage landmark and has 13 treatment rooms, will provide experiences that are deeply rooted in holistic health with a strong emphasis on wellbeing. With two cutting-edge ballrooms, the biggest of which can hold up to 400 people, the resort will also be a stunning new location for weddings and celebrations.
Creating a new destination for dining in the city, Raffles Sentosa Singapore will offer five exceptional restaurants and lounges showcasing a diverse array of global cuisines. At the resort’s signature Empire Grill, guests can savour authentic Italian cuisine with a modern twist, while Royal China will feature refined Cantonese cuisine, and a distinctive Japanese omakase journey awaits diners at Hashida. The signature Raffles Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed in the elegant and welcoming Raffles Room. In a nod to the speakeasies of the past, Chairman’s Room offers a refined selection of whiskies, cognacs, and fine wines and champagnes by the glass in a setting featuring plush sofas. Alternatively, guests may opt to dine al fresco by their private villa pool, in the resort’s lush gardens, or on a secluded stretch of Tanjong Beach, directly accessible from the resort.
