As part of their 365-day mission to educate and uplift, Source, one of Europe’s top responsible sourcing fairs for fashion, home, gifts, and gardening, has introduced a new series of newsletters.

It is intended to support decisions and motivate subsequent actions by providing professional viewpoints, novel insights, stimulating conversations, comprehensive reports, and exclusive updates directly from the sourcing community.

Suzanne Ellingham, sourcing director at Source, adds, “What began as incredible live content at the shows has developed into so much more.” The knowledge and passion of our partners and experts are available to our audience throughout the year. With the launch of From the Source, we are excited to give you relevant industry insights and current articles straight to your inbox as we continue to explore the ever evolving sourcing landscape. We’ll talk about everything from sustainable sourcing to ecologically conscious design and production. Join us as we investigate significant subjects and strive to promote the industry overall.

The first edition of From the Source includes access to Insider Trends’ Pet & Garden Retail Report. Discover how health-conscious consumers, eco-friendly practices, and new tech-driven innovations are reshaping the market.

Plus, watch the conversation between Source’s Event Director Suzanne Ellingham and Mike Coates, Assistant Director at the Competition and Markets Authority discussing everything from greenwashing and fast fashion to future policies and the language of sustainability.

Newsletter subscribers will also receive access to Source’s Intelligence Series.  Recorded in partnership with Retail 100 in the Source studios, the ‘Intelligence Series’ is designed to provide valuable insight and practical tips to help navigate the dynamic world of fashion sourcing in different regions.

This month’s must-reads also include blog posts on ‘Why fashion brands are using preloved clothing’; ‘Revitalising the high street: navigating the changing retail landscape’; and ‘Why second-hand clothing got a wider invitation to fashion week’.
