Introducing Forbo’s New Tessera Topology Collection featuring Thrive® Matter Yarns.
The first collection in their Evolve+ series, New Tessera Topology by Forbo Flooring Systems, with Thrive® matter yarn from Universal Fibers®, is now available! Universal Fibers is thrilled to announce this.
Thrive® matter, composed of 90% recycled nylon 6 and 100% solution-dyed, has the lowest carbon impact of any yarn in the business. With the help of this cutting-edge yarn and Forbo’s efficient production methods, carpet tiles with an embodied carbon of less than 1.5 kg CO2/square meter and over 75% recycled content are produced. The collection is produced in facilities that use only renewable energy, such as electricity and biogas, demonstrating Forbo’s dedication to minimizing its negative environmental effects.

Apart from its eco-friendly advantages, Tessera Topology presents a chic and modern look. The geometric pattern in the series strikes a balance between organic textures and straight angles, producing a distinctive and adaptable design that adds warmth and character to any interior space. Designed and manufactured in the UK, Tessera Topology is available ex stock, making it suitable for office refurbishments and other fast-track projects. In order to provide end users with a healthier atmosphere, the collection also satisfies strict indoor air quality criteria, such as Indoor Air Comfort Gold and GUT certification.
Tessera Topology offers a perfect option for a variety of tasks. It comes in a mix of lovely neutral tones and muted accents, like the earthy green of Willow Inverse and the delicate beige of Pebble Tangent. The tiles have a standard 50x50cm format, which makes it simple to combine them with other items from Forbo’s Tessera line, creating countless design options.
Forbo’s Tessera carpet tiles can be installed adhesive free using IOBAC MagTabs™, allowing them to be easily removed and reused or recycled, supporting a circular economy. Forbo is also proud to have recently entered into partnership with the Salvation Army Trading Company, supporting it’s Take Back scheme and furniture shops with donations of reusable carpet tiles.
