Liva Reviva is a recycled sustainable fabric from the Birla Cellulose group
Renowned designer Aarti Vijay Gupta teamed up with Liva Reviva to present sustainable luxury couture in September 2024 during London couture Week. Her Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “Postcard from Kashmir,” made a stunning premiere, showcasing the marriage of high fashion design and sustainable materials. The eco-friendly fibers of Liva Reviva gave the collection a distinctive touch, and its adaptability captivated viewers.
Aarti Vijay Gupta’s collection, which featured items painstakingly constructed utilizing fabrics based on LIVA Reviva, was a breathtaking depiction of Kashmir’s landscapes and cultural traditions. The clothing, which was composed of FSC-certified wood pulp and up to 30% recovered textile waste, provided a sumptuous, soft, and breathable substitute for regular viscose. The collection included Papier Mâché artwork, Namda needlework, and miniatures from Kashmir. These ancient art forms were updated with creative silhouettes and design cues.
