Mumbai, September 10th, 2024 – Yastika Bhatia, an Indian cricket player, has joined Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company®, as its newest brand ambassador for the Performance category in India. After Ishan Kishan joined the Skechers squad earlier this year, Bhatia has signed on as the first female player to compete in Skechers cricket boots. The boots are scheduled to go on sale on the 30th of this month. Yastika Bhatia is contributing to the growth of Skechers in the Indian sportswear market by appearing in marketing campaigns that support the brand’s Performance and Lifestyle collections.
Bhatia, a member of the Mumbai Indians Women’s squad and a rising star in the Indian women’s national cricket team, is renowned for her strong fielding abilities and aggressive batting approach. September 2021 saw Bhatia make her debut for the Indian women’s cricket team in a series against Australia. Recognized for her proficient left-handed hitting and strong wicket-keeping abilities, she has represented India in a number of formats, such as Twenty20 Internationals and One Day Internationals (ODIs). She is an invaluable member of the Indian women’s cricket squad because of her capacity to perform well under duress and her strong batting and wicketkeeping abilities.
