Reliance Retail’s Reliance Brands Limited has opened India’s first Armani/Caffe, a diner owned by the Italian luxury apparel company Armani. The café opened in Mumbai’s Jio World Plaza mall, which is also owned by Reliance Retail.
“Mumbai, get ready to dine in style as India’s first Armani/Caffe has arrived,” Reliance Brands Limited wrote on Facebook, showing photographs of the area. “Located next to the Giorgio Armani boutique, this new place boasts a classy Italian environment with subdued blues, exquisite palm themes, and a menu that combines classic Italian flavors with contemporary approaches. Come drink, savor, and treat yourself to an exceptional meal today!”
The restaurant adheres to Armani’s iconic, upscale Italian logo, with a blend of gray and gold tones and gently illuminated shelving. Patrons can dine on classic Italian dishes or relax at the bar and drink a variety of spirits.
“Another dream comes true as we open our doors to India’s first and world’s fifth Armani/Caffe, proud of what the team has accomplished here,” wrote Reliance Brands Limited’s head of Hamleys and Pret India, Sumeet Yadav, on LinkedIn.
The Armani/Caffe launch strengthens Reliance Brands Limited’s relationship with Armani while also expanding Jio World Plaza’s choices of high-end restaurants. Armani/Caffe joins Si Nonna’s, Ladurée, and Café&Meal Muji in the Bandra Kurla Complex shopping center.
