Dubai, UAE | 27 August 2024: FESPA Middle East, which, following a wildly successful first event earlier this year, brings top OEM suppliers and distributors from the print, textile, and signs industries together with senior decision-makers and trade professionals, will return to the Dubai Exhibition Centre on January 20–22, 2025.

The GCC’s digital printing market alone is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.93% to reach $1.16 billion by 2029, according to research firm Mordor Intelligence. In addition, a survey conducted by Dublin-based Research and Markets, a market insights and analysis company, shows that the global printing industry sector was estimated to be worth $357 billion in 2023

According to the FESPA Print Census, a global industry research study updated in 2023, print service providers reported an average 7% gain in income for 2018. This growth occurred despite the pandemic’s negative effects on the economy. Data gathered from 1,788 respondents in 120 countries highlighted a sound business perspective.

Demand for eco-friendly products and practices was one of the major trends observed at FESPA, with 72% of print buyers actively seeking for products that are either manufactured using sustainable techniques or that are eco-friendly. Shorter print runs, more personalization, and quicker turnaround times were some other noteworthy advances.

In its first year, FESPA drew over 150 brand exhibitors and over 3,000 attendees over the course of three days in January 2024. 88 different nations, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar, Turkey, Iran, and Tanzania, were represented among the participants.

Nearly half of the attendees wanted to interact with exhibitors displaying 3D printing, signage, and displays, and nearly three quarters of visitors wanted to view the newest digital printing technologies. Additionally, print suppliers of gifts and promotional items, inks and consumables, and screen printing piqued the curiosity of visitors. Over $530 million was spent on these tourists’ combined budgets.

Additionally, the program served as a perfect venue for FESPA’s free educational initiative, FLEx – FESPA Leadership Exchange, which featured top-notch instruction from eighteen international experts and included workshops, leadership seminars, and hands-on demos.
