Chennai, July 23, 2024: Big Hello, a plus-sized apparel specialty brand, opened its second retail experience location in Chennai lately. For plus-sized men and women in Chennai, the Big Hello boutiques at City Center and Pondy Bazaar provide fashionable apparel and accessories that are both fashionable and of the highest caliber. In the upcoming months, the firm also intends to open other locations in Chennai and other significant Tamil Nadu cities.
The two Chennai locations, which are dubbed “Experience Stores,” have colorful interiors with dancing mannequins and top-notch, personable customer service that embodies the brand’s upbeat and joyful essence. Big Hello is the first company in India to provide its clients a special lounge where they may relax and browse, improving their whole retail experience.
Big Hello has expanded its retail presence to 18 sites in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Guntur with this launch. The company intends to soon open more storefronts in Chennai in addition to operating an online store. Vishnu Prasad launched Absolute Brands and Retail Private Limited (ABRPL), a rapidly expanding fashion selling company, which owns Big Hello.

The specialty fashion brand aims to open 50 new stores this financial year as part of a dedicated national retail expansion strategy. A majority of these stores will be located in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. Indian plus-size fashion apparel market, estimated at ₹88,000 crore, has a 12% share in the overall fashion market. Of this, the share of the organised market is estimated at 33%, or about ₹29,000 crore. This market is further projected to grow at a CAGR of 25% over the next five years.
