GAIN VALUABLE INSIGHTS FROM INDUSTRY EXPERTS AT SOURCE FASHION

The seminar agenda for Source Fashion, Europe’s premier responsible sourcing event, which takes place at Olympia London from July 14–16, has been released. The event features a lineup of top industry experts who will discuss solutions to actual business challenges and roadblocks that brands face when implementing more sustainable processes.

Day 1 covers industry innovation and collaboration, Day 2 presents trends, laws, and large brand ideology, and Day 3 concentrates on education, certification, and learning. Each day covers a different primary theme.

Event Director Suzanne Ellingham says,”Source Fashion provides us with the chance to provide a forum where individuals can pose important queries and engage in dialogue around the direction of fashion, sustainability, and improving business practices. A broad range of industry experts will be present on our programme to address issues such as growing trends, law, certification, responsibility in the fashion business, innovative materials and methods, accountability, transparency, and much more. Our goal is to use the event as a forum for conversation on issues for which there is no clear answer—just forward-thinking companies that are willing to share what they have learned.

Join fashion activist Caryn Franklin MBE and Nick Beighton for a unique and frank conversation, where they will talk about the realities of trying to make positive change, and the hurdles that need to be overcome.

Next level sustainability

A fireside chat with Jo Mourant, Group Head of Sustainability, CR and Product Legislation at Next Plc. Jo will outline tangible ways Next are assessing and combatting some of their biggest sustainability challenges, and address how best to incorporate collaborative ways of working for a more aligned, ethical, sustainable strategy.

Could alternative materials change the face of sustainable fashion?

A panel discussing what makes a material sustainable, looking at examples of where they’ve been used, and how exactly sustainable materials can positively impact the industry.
