Preenu Abraham is named chief business officer by Plum.

The company’s management team has been strengthened by Preenu Abraham, the chief business officer for retail at vegan cosmetics brand Plum.

Abraham’s new role will see him responsible for growing the company’s retail operations across Plum-only stores, modern trade, and general trade.

Preenu Abraham released a statement after being hired that read, “I am thrilled at this opportunity to architect a brand-first, process-driven approach to drive retail channel growth at Plum.” In order to accelerate the brand’s growth in the next months and years, I’m thrilled to embark on this journey with the Plum team.

Shankar Prasad, the founder and CEO of Plum, went on, “Our retail rollout, which began seven years ago, is currently impacted by thousands of channel partners.” With the help of Preenu’s expertise, zeal, and leadership, Plum will expand its unique sales and distribution network and meet more customers across the wide and diverse country of India.

Preenu Abraham has over 22 years of experience in consumer products sales and distribution. She has held executive roles at Mondelez, Pepsico, and Jubilant Foodworks.
