Thanks to the MET Gala’s couture, we overindulged in high fashion last week. But, celebs like Janhvi Kapoor and Dua Lipa went above and above by wearing bold ensembles.
What is the appropriate quantity of fishnet? – “Yes.” The singer shocked us with yet another feathered costume, this time with fishnets, after wearing an all-black feathered design by Marc Jacobs. She chose a vampy black lace suit with corsetry and sheer embellishments. Dua Lipa almost gave off a hip-hop feel when she donned a small fishnet-patterned strapless crop top, matching gloves, and a striking face veil.
To finish the ensemble, she added an integrated belt and a studded neckpiece as accessories. Recently, Janhvi Kapoor took a stab at method dressing. She wore a stunning red fake leather dress by designer Surya Sarkar, which highlighted her curves even more with its bodycon shape. The most notable aspect? The dress had chic cutouts at the waist and a row of balls like cricket balls going down the back, giving it a cricket ball-like appearance.
In keeping with the theme, Kriti Sanon chose an all-red outfit that was highlighted with a standout accessory: golden buttons. At a recent occasion, she wore a crimson structured bralette and pants pair from the English designer Sanne. Her outfit had high-rise pants and a corset-like design in addition to distinctive gold buttons.
We’re sure you’ve seen all of the top Met Gala outfits by now, but have you had a chance to check out the looks that stood out during the after-party? Check out Kendall Jenner with Jennie, the member of BLACKPINK. Jenner unveiled a number of post-event ensembles designed by her stylist, Dani Michelle, after the gala. An antique item from Givenchy’s spring 1997 haute couture collection by Alexander McQueen was one particularly striking outfit.
The alluring high-low hemline was what attracted everyone’s attention, especially when Jenner walked through the streets of New York City. Jennie, on the other hand, went all out of costume for her red carpet appearance and wore a feathery jacket with an embroidered halter neck gown.
