Legwear brand Balenzia has partnered with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) India to introduce a special sock collection called ‘Love for Wild.’ The men’s and women’s line aims to use fashion as a platform to support wildlife conservation and raise awareness.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Rahul Gupta, Director of Balenzia, stated, “Collaborating with WWF-India, an organization I’ve always admired, is a significant milestone for Balenzia. This initiative, blending our passion for design with a deep commitment to wildlife conservation, is crafted to be eye-catching and spark meaningful dialogues about the urgent need for environmental stewardship. It’s a proud moment for us to see these values woven into our designs.”
The organic cotton collection is set to launch just in time for Valentine’s Day, making it a perfect fit for the traditional gifting festival. Customers can purchase the ‘Love for Wild’ collection on Balenzia’s e-commerce platform and in their brick-and-mortar stores across India.
Kaveri Jain, WWF-India’s Director of Marketing and Communications, expressed gratitude to Balenzia for joining their mission of wildlife and habitat conservation. She emphasized the importance of collaboration between businesses, policymakers, consumers, and civil society in achieving this goal. The partnership is seen as an exciting opportunity to resonate with a wider audience and make a positive impact.
