Moncler’s Genius Program Teams Up with Jay-Z for Innovative Collection

Moncler’s Genius program has unveiled a groundbreaking collaboration with Roc Nation, led by iconic rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z. This expansive collection features around 20 distinct pieces, including a unique mustard snake-skin inspired bomber jacket with meticulous details, priced at 1,750 euros. Other standout items include an oversized down jacket, a sleeveless version, a leather bomber jacket, and a reversible down jacket with ultra-soft shearling fur.

More than just a collaboration, this partnership aims to transform Moncler’s Genius concept into a “co-creation platform.” Originating in 2018, Genius initially introduced new luxury creators each season. Now, with Jay-Z and Roc Nation on board, the collaboration extends beyond fashion into a storytelling experience.

The collection’s narrative is conveyed through a manifesto film, featuring a soundtrack from the movie The Book of Clarence, co-produced by Jay-Z. Directed by Irish filmmakers Páraic and Kevin McGloughlin, the film visually connects mountain ascent with urban ascent, intertwining Alpine landscapes with snapshots of Jay-Z and Roc Nation’s New York.

This project goes beyond traditional fashion, encompassing a diverse range of digital, musical, photographic, and artistic content. It strives to inspire personal expression by showcasing that genius is omnipresent, blending the worlds of high fashion and urban culture in a visually compelling manner.
