CFDA Reveals Exciting Lineup for New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has unveiled the initial schedule for New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Fall/Winter 2024, taking place from February 9 to 14. Featuring a diverse mix of over 70 designers, the event will showcase physical runway shows, digital presentations, and by-appointment showcases.

Kicking off the NYFW schedule on February 9 is Peter Do, presenting his second collection for Helmut Lang. CFDA chairman Thom Browne will bring the week to a close on February 14 with a promised grand finale.

Returning designers include Carolina Herrera, Coach, Collina Strada, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez, Khaite, LaQuan Smith, Michael Kors, Jason Wu, Jonathan Cohen, and Proenza Schouler. The lineup also welcomes the highly anticipated return of Gabriela Hearst, presenting her first collection since leaving Chloé in September 2023. Monse, Lafayette 148, Delpozo, and Libertine are also making comebacks to the NYFW schedule.

New talents making their inaugural appearances include Bishme Cromartie, Callas, Colleen Allen, Jane Wade, and Meruert Tolegen. Runners-up in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, Diotima, and Zankov, along with finalists Kim Shui and Tanner Fletcher, will showcase their collections. CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner Melitta Baumeister will debut digitally.

In a significant international debut, Ludovic de Saint Sernin will unveil his eponymous brand in New York on February 11, marking his first runway presentation outside of Paris.

Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, expressed excitement about the upcoming season, emphasizing NYFW’s strengths in showcasing a diverse range of designers and voices shaping global fashion creativity. Additionally, he highlighted the growth of the CFDA NYFW Travel Fund, bringing esteemed international voices to New York and extending the reach of American designers worldwide.
