In the upcoming Paris couture season scheduled for January, Maison Margiela and John Galliano are set to mark their haute couture comeback. Peet Dullaert, a talented Dutch designer, will also debut as a guest member in this exclusive fashion event.
The Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode unveiled an official calendar listing 30 esteemed houses for the couture season. Maison Margiela’s couture division will conclude the four-day season with its highly anticipated show helmed by the creative director, John Galliano. The fashion world eagerly awaits Galliano’s innovative couture creations following his previous dazzling showcase titled Cinema Inferno.
Schiaparelli is slated to kick off the season with its spring-summer 2024 collection, designed for an elite clientele, including movie stars searching for exquisite outfits for prestigious events like the Academy Awards in March.
Peet Dullaert, known for his elegant designs, will have his official debut as a guest member, a coveted recognition requiring approval from the FHCM committee. Other notable showcases during the bustling week include iconic brands like Christian Dior, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Valentino, and Fendi presenting their couture collections.
A much-anticipated highlight is Jean-Paul Gaultier’s unique project of featuring guest designers, with Simone Rocha set to take the stage. This season also welcomes the return of Hong Kong-born designer Robert Wun, contributing to what promises to be an exceptional and vibrant couture season, celebrated as the pinnacle of fashion creativity.
