Dolce & Gabbana is still dedicated to supporting emerging designers. This time, the Italian luxury house is backing Karoline Vitto, a young Brazilian designer who was adopted into London and will present in Milan in September. Previously, the Italian luxury house has invited Japanese designer Tomo Koizumi and British punk-queer designer Matty Bovan to display on the catwalk in Milan.

The fashion designer moved to London in 2016 to pursue her studies at Central Saint Martins and a degree in fashion design at the Royal College of Art. She left her home country behind. She established her own design brand in 2020 and debuted it with a spectacular presentation in September as a component of the British design East incubator.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were particularly moved by her work, which focused on the feminine form. Women’s bodies are respected in Karoline Vitto’s work, which places them at the centre of her creations. In a press release, Dolce & Gabbana notes that the young designer’s inclusive approach, the study of form, the celebration of self-confidence, and the responsible use of materials are at the forefront of her creativity and share many principles with the Italian fashion house.
