431-88 Extends Its World Through Apartment-88

The new travelling retail format launches in Delhi with Biophilia F/W ’26 at its centre

Delhi, 30th September 2026: 431-88 introduces Apartment-88, a travelling retail and experience format that brings its wider world into a physical setting.

The first Apartment-88 will take place on 30th September at Shweta Kapur’s home in Delhi. The experience will bring together the 431-88 community through a shared interest in fashion, art, design and culture.

Across the residence, clothing will sit alongside furniture, books, materials and objects. Elements of the atelier will also become part of the setting.

Bringing 431-88 Into the Home

At the heart of Apartment-88 is the idea of coming home. The format brings 431-88 clothing into a lived-in space. Furniture, objects, books and people become part of the overall experience.

In this setting, visitors can explore the wider world of 431-88. Discovery and conversation become an important part of the experience.

Multidisciplinary artist Eeshaan Kashyap brings the studio-meets-apartment vision together. A close friend of Shweta Kapur, Kashyap works across the residence. He shapes the rooms, furniture, objects and details into one considered environment.

As a result, the Biophilia collection sits naturally within the home and its surroundings.

Apartment-88 Will Travel

Apartment-88 is designed to move between cities and spaces. Each edition will take on a different character based on its location.

Future editions could take place in contemporary homes, galleries or design-led hospitality spaces. The setting will help shape how visitors experience the 431-88 world each time.

Biophilia F/W ’26 Takes Centre Stage

At the centre of the first Apartment-88 edition is Biophilia, 431-88’s F/W ’26 collection.

The collection draws inspiration from the patterns and rhythms found in life. It also explores the idea of constant change.

The butterfly becomes a symbol of transformation throughout the collection. This idea appears through cocoon-like forms, gathered skirts, fluid draping and layered textures.

Organic markings add another natural element. Meanwhile, sharp tailoring and generous silhouettes retain the distinctive language of 431-88.

Movement remains central to the collection. The clothes are designed to shift and respond as they are worn.

Shweta Kapur on Apartment-88

Shweta Kapur describes Apartment-88 as a natural extension of the 431-88 world:

“431-88 has always been about more than the clothes. It is also about the things around them – the spaces, objects, references, and people that shape how we see and live. Apartment-88 is a way of bringing that world together and giving people the opportunity to experience it for themselves. Starting at home feels very natural because it is personal and inhabited. Biophilia brings its own idea of becoming and changing, but Apartment-88 is the larger thought – creating a world around 431-88 that can continue to evolve, move and take on a different character wherever it goes.”

The Delhi edition marks the beginning of Apartment-88. Going forward, each expression will be shaped by the place, people and context around it.
