At the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre (IICC) in Dwarka, New Delhi, the Clothes Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) held its 2nd North India Garment Fair, which came to a successful conclusion. More than 200 exhibitors and over 5450 trade visitors attended the expo, which took place on June 11–13, 2024, showing a strong positive feeling for the approaching holiday season.
A well-received business networking session took place on the second day of the show, whereby over 65 exhibitors had the chance to meet individually with 22 prominent agents and distributors who were invited from all over India. Exhibitionists had the opportunity to showcase their collections to prospective distributors and agents from various areas.
President of CMAI Ramesh Masand said, “The overwhelming response to NIGF 2024 is a testament to the strength and potential of the Indian garment industry,” in reflection on the event’s success. In addition to giving manufacturers and customers in the North region a place to interact, the exhibition demonstrated how prepared the sector is for the approaching holiday season.
“Apart from the buyer-seller meetings, the main highlight of NIGF was the business networking session which gave exhibitors an invaluable opportunity to connect with top agents and distributors from across India,” said Santosh Katariya, Chairman of NIGF.
